Eligibility Required for Canada Self Employed Visa

For the Canada self-employed visa, applicants do not need to show a minimum net worth but need to prove that they have enough funds to support their family upon their arrival.  Canada self employed visa applicant need to prove their intention and ability to become self-employed anywhere and anytime in Canada. Canada self employed visa applicants need to provide evidence of their experience in athletic, cultural or farming activities and should meet additional requirements.

Canada self-employed applicants must meet the following criteria:

• You should have experience as a participant at a world-class level in cultural activities or the Canada self employed visa applicant should demonstrate that they would definitely leave Canada at the end of the employment period

• You should have sufficient settlement funds to support yourself and your family in Canada.

Points System

Canada self employed visa applicants will be assessed based on their experience, age, education, language proficiency and adaptability. They need to score minimum 35 points if they are willing and intend to migrate to Canada. The maximum score awarded in this visa is 100points.
