122nd Express Entry Draw Has a Low CRS Invites 3600 Candidates for PR

Canada held a recent 122nd Express Entry draw on July 24th, and as a result totally 3600 candidates will receive Invitations to Apply. The Comprehensive Ranking System cut-off limit in it was 459. This was the fourth successive EE draw where the CRS cut-off threshold had a decrease. In the draw held previously on July 10th, the cut-off was 460 points. 

Features of the draw

Another notable feature of this draw is that for the second time consecutively, Express Entry has invited 3,600 candidates for submitting the application to seek Canadian permanent residence. The number was 3350 ITAs issued in previous 10 draws for all programs held between Jan 30 and June 26. 

Similar to the past draws, the authorities made use of the tie-break rule in this Express Entry draw also, at the specific time and date of May 25, 2019 at 14:40:52 UTC. It makes clear that the candidates having the minimum CRS score (459) and all those submitting their profiles prior to the specific date/time received a priority in the Express Entry draw.

This draw was the 15th in Express Entry for 2019 and 122nd after the launch of Express Entry in 2015. There is a high immigration target in Canada for the year 2019, and it is hoped that the CRS cut-off score would drop in the future also for these Express Entry draws. The figures for ITAs issued by IRCC in this year are 49000 after the consideration of the numbers in this draw.

The candidates receiving an invitation in this draw can submit the PR application in Canada in 60 days. IRCC has a standard of processing all the Express Entry applications in a matter of six months only.
