APPLICANTS HAVING RELATIVES IN NEW BRUNSWICK BENEFIT IN P.N.P

Details

On August 16th, the New Brunswick province of announced a change in the Provincial Nominee Program. A P.N.P. stream will start accepting applications of all individuals who are having relatives residing in the province. Aspiring immigrants, having relatives who reside in the province must scrutinize the eligibility criteria, which we are presenting here, and determine the suitability of this option.

E.E LABOR MARKET STREAM

The E.E. Labor Market Stream is popular in the New Brunswick P.N.P. When the applicant succeeds in the stream, he/she receives a nomination for PR. This serves as a guarantee for Canadian immigration.

The norm for applying to E.E.L.M.S. is that a person must first submit an E.O.I. form to the province. There is a selection of the best E.O.I. Afterwards the province will invite such candidates for submitting the official applications to the Program. Presently, New Brunswick is accepting E.O.I.s from aspirants who fulfill a set of specific requirements.

Effects of change

After the change on August 16th, the province will accept E.O.I. from two fresh applicant categories:

  • Applicants having a relative residing in the province. They need to be Canadian citizens or P.R.s and living in the province for one year is the norm. In the Eligible relatives list there are children, siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles.

  • Applicants having a job offer that holds validity from a company located in the province for a position of three N.O.C. Skill Levels.

The province will also accept E.O.I.s from the two groups who were eligible before the change:

  • Applicants already having an employment in the province.

  • Applicants showing much French proficiency and having experience in an in-demand occupation of the province.

Furthermore, the norm to get eligibility for the E.E. Labor Market Stream is that the candidates need to have a profile in the F.S.W. stream of Express Entry.

METHODS TO APPLY: EXPRESS ENTRY LABOUR MARKET STREAM

These are the steps to apply for the EELMS.

First, the province recommends a review of all eligibility criteria, for ensuring eligibility before applying. On gaining the eligibility a person must follow these steps:

  1. Submission of an Expression of Interest through an email to the New Brunswick Program.

  2. Receiving an I.T.A. for the Program. The province selects most competitive candidates.

  3. Submission of an application to the N.B. Brunswick Program.

  4. In case of application approval, such an applicant will get an official nomination. This should be shown on the E.E.  Profile of an applicant, resulting in 600 additional C.R.S. points to guarantee receiving a federal I.T.A. in the subsequent E.E draw.

  5. On obtaining an I.T.A., such applicants also get 60 days, for submitting an application, seeking permanent residence.
