The Provincial Nominee Program of British Columbia has a Tech Pilot program. It held a draw on August 30, and issued 32 invitations to apply seeking the provincial nomination. These invitations were issued to eligible candidates who are having a job offer of one year duration. It has to be in any of the 29 Priority Occupations of Tech Pilot.

Moreover, the EE candidates who are successful in getting the nomination also obtain 600 additional points in the CRS.

Also, the applications of permanent residence in Canada, of the Skills Immigration candidates, who are successful in getting the nomination, of the province will be processed by IRCC outside the EE Online Application Processing System.

Furthermore, the norm to receive the invitation to apply, says that the candidate, as well as the employer, should meet all requirements, of the program, while taking registration.

Fast processing for technology occupations

There is no fee for Registration in the BC PNP Tech Pilot. It requires candidates to give all the details about their BC employer. The Program says that its Tech Pilot has a fast process for applications and it is over within two or three months from receiving the request.

Initially the individuals who have an interest in immigrating to Canada by using this BC PNP must submit a complete an online profile by using the Skills Immigration Registration System.
