The Canadian province Quebec has announced the new number and appeal intake periods exclusively for Entrepreneur programs and other programs like Self-Employed Worker. The Investor Program Quebec Immigrant will begin from September 10, 2018, to March 15, 2019, to 1,500 appeals. This number comprises a quota of 1,235 appeals from China entrepreneurs.
Curious investors who can give Quebec government-approved search results giving an advanced intermediate French proficiency are excluded from the application and quota timeline.
Among other requirements, appeals to the Program of Quebec Investor will have to satisfy the updated net assets and investment limits of CAD 2 million and CAD 1.2 million, individually, that come into force from August 2.
The earlier criteria were net assets of CAD 1.6 million and an investment of CAD 800,000.
The province of Quebec will allow 25 appeals by the new Component One of its Entrepreneur Program and further 35 applications by Element Two between August 15, 2018, and March 31, 2019.
The requirements for the new elements come into force from August 2.
Enthusiastic entrepreneurs who can present Quebec government-approved search results displaying an excellent intermediate French proficiency are excluded from the application and quota timeline.
Component One is concentrated on startups sustained by a business accelerator/incubator or university and Component Two is committed to owner-funded and businesses which is operated.
Below Component One, the Immigration Ministry of Quebec will grant entrepreneurs who, between other requirements:
Component Two concentrates on the development of an enterprise that the immigrant entrepreneur builds or obtains.
Quebec will receive 50 appeals through its Program of Self-Employed Worker within August 15, 2018, and March 31, 2019.
Enthusiastic candidates who can contribute Quebec government-approved results of the test giving an exceptional intermediate French language proficiency are excluded from the application and quota and timeline.
As of August 2, applicants allowed through the program will be needed to have a least of CAD100,000 in net worth.
