Saskatchewan Conducts New Skilled Worker Draw Under New EOI System

Saskatchewan immigration has accompanied a new skilled worker draw below the province’s fledgling System of Expression of Interest.

The draw held on September 20, only the second since the system was organized sanctioned 140 applicants invited to apply below the stream of Occupations In-Demand of the Category of International Skilled Worker. Applicants required to score minimum 75 points to suit for an I.T.A for Saskatchewan immigration.

All of the EOI applicants requested had Assessments of Educational Credential, which is needed for Saskatchewan applications. The province announces it will accompany a minimum of one draw per month moving forward.

Saskatchewan’s earlier draw was the beginning below the EOI system of the province. The draw held on August 21 recognized 466 applicants invited below the Sub-Category Saskatchewan Express Entry, with the least-ranked applicant scoring 68 points.

Saskatchewan Expression of Interest Process

  • Present E.O.I profile.
  • Access to E.O.I applicant pool.
  • Shortlisting of E.O.I applicants.
  • Invitations to Apply announced via routine draws.
  • Applicants present the full application before 60 days.
  • S.I.N.P officials evaluate appeals and make the decision.

Occupation-In-Demand Sub-Category Requirements

  • Score, a least of 60 points on the S.I.N.P, points evaluation grid;
  • Have a minimum language score of Canadian Language Benchmark 4. Companies and regulatory bodies may demand greater score also;
  • Have finished post-secondary education one year, training or apprenticeship relative to the education system in Canada. You should have received a certificate, diploma or degree.
  • Minimum one-year work experience in the preceding 10 years.
  • Have evidence of settlement funds and a plan of settlement.
  • Pay $300 application fee in online mode which is non-refundable.
